This was my first oil painting so I was quite nervous to start, but then it turned out very good. I really like the texture of the fur.
Savannah dusk
This painting of the African Savannah is painted in a pointillism style, which I covered on Part C. I used the ball-shaped ends of a sewing pin, back of a paint brush and toothpick to make the dot shape.
The Illusion
This is my optical illusion picture. when looked at the right angle it looks like there is a hole in the picture. I only used black and white to make the illusion effective. Even though it looks simple getting the effect was quite hard. but I really enjoyed the end result.
Me from the side
This is a charcoal self portrait I did at art class. I was very proud of it because I spent a very long time on it getting the features right.
Express yourself
This is an expressionist piece of work using acrylic. I really like this piece because it is very colourful and uses complementary colours.
The Tree
This is a charcoal nature piece I did at my art class. I like the use of shade and shadow in this artwork.
Collage Woman
I made this portrait of a woman using old newspapers and Christmas wrapping paper. I like it because the bright coloured wrapping contrasts with the dull newspaper.
A vase of nature
This is a vase I made in school using clay. I added imprints of nature, such as shells and seed pods and pressed them into the wet clay. I enjoyed working with clay and really like the design of my pot.
Hallow A
This a piece of word art using the letter A, as it is the first letter of my name. I like the use of both gold leaf and watercolour here
Save the turtles
This is an Expressionist painting on the importance of saving turtles and other animals who are dying of plastic pollution. I like the use of abstract colours in this piece
The Wave
This is an acrylic painting inspired by Japanese art. My favourite part of the painting is Mount Fuji in the background.
A jug full of spikes
This is a watercolour still life of a water jug and a bramble. I really like this painting because of the highlights used.
